Melaka is not wanting for the lack
of historical buildings and or museums. Whilst perhaps as not brimming
with as much material as might be expected with so much history
lying around they still worth a visit and will no doubt get better
with time.
That said, one of the nice things is the variety of museums on offer
as well as the proximity of one to another - on a quiet day you
would be able to visit all the museums in one day.
And for families the price is quite reasonable - usually RM2 for
adults and half that for children/students.
Be advised that government operated museums are closed on Tuesdays
and have shorter hours on Fridays.
That said, here's a brief guide for some of Melaka's more
popular museums and memorials.
